Thoughts on starting to TTC right after you stop the BC pill? I have read 100 places that it doesn't make a difference, just wondering what everyone thinks.

For some it takes time for their bodies to regulate and it can take months to get pregnant, for others doesn't and they get pregnant right away.

Every person is different. So, I guess if you want to get pregnant, and you are going off the pill for that reason, I don't see a problem with starting right away, but know it could take some time.

My doctor told me there is no issue with ttc right away. You just might not be successful immediately cuz you won't know when you ovulate but most people aren't immediately successful anyway lol

That's what we did. Just be ready bc it took us all of 5 minutes the first time around.

I just found out I was pregnant last week and this is my first month off the pill. I was only off the pill because my prescription ran out and I couldn't get back into the doctor for a few weeks. I thought that it would be too hard to get pregnant off the pill, so I didn't worry.

Nope. Not that hard.

Granted, I have PCOS and my doc told me that women with PCOS are more likely to ovulate immediately after the pill than anyone else. I thought he was wrong at first because my old doctor made it sound like it would be so hard. But apparently I have a smart new doctor.

(Also, I have a friend that conceived both of her children the month after stopping the pill. It definitely can happen!)
