First Prenatal visit?

I called my OBGYN yesterday as soon as my test was positive and they scheduled me for my first visit the 2nd week in September! That seems so long away!! Anyone know what I can expect at the first visit? Anything I need to bring? The receptionist just said to be taking prenatals (which I have been for a couple months) and that was it!  I feel like these are the most crucial weeks and I'm dumbfounded as to what it safe and unsafe for the baby.

There isn't much your doctor can tell you before the 6-8 week period. Women who have other health concerns or previous losses usually will be seen prior to that. FX for you and GL.
