Diaper genie vs diaper pail

Hi all, I'm sure this has been asked before but I received an arm and hammer diaper pail and a diaper genie from my shower. I'm wondering which one to keep.... Any feedback on either would be appreciated.

I have the Arm & Hammer diaper pail and I really love it. I've used other people's diaper genies and diaper dekors and like mine better.

We had the Arm & Hammer one with DD. At first we loved it but after like a year or so it was crap and we hated it. Idk it just sort of died on us after a while. Can't really say much about the Diaper Genie though although before we decided we were going to cloth diaper this baby we both decided to try this one instead.

ETA: Also after a while DD figured out how to open the front door to it which is another reason we didn't like it.

Love our Arm & Hammer diaper pail because of the bags. It's a lot easier to just snap the bag closed when it's full than to have to mess with all the cutting and tying of the Diaper Genie, personally.

I hated the diaper genie. I used it for about a year but it did not contain the smell and the bag design sucks.

I now have the A & H diaper pail. I've been using it for 2.5 years now and I love it. I don't have any odor issues and it has a much better bag system.

I have the Arm & Hammer, and I love it. It contains the smell much better than my SIL's Diaper Genie. My daughter is almost 2, and we haven't had any signs of wear and tear. She can open the latch on the door, but she doesn't.
