Don't know how to delete

    You've never heard of Patrick Swayze? Not where I got the name but still spelled and pronounced the same. I know a girl named Swayze and love it.

    If you have two girls please do not give one an ultra-feminine name like Everly and the other one the masculine name Swayze. It would be cruel. I get that you know a girl named Swayze, but to everyone else on planet Earth it is the name of the guy who wants to teach you to dance at a summer resort. Wearing leather pants and a tank top. 

    ETA: I know Everly was traditionally also a boy name, but I think it has fully crossed over and most would agree.

    It's funny that Swayze gets reamed on here as being awful but irl ppl seem to like it. And I don't think they are just trying to be nice bc they are vocal about hating Harvey. Lol.

    I had never heard of Everly for a boy but also didn't know Finley was so masculine either as its my DD name.

    I feel like maybe people in real life are lying to you. Swayze is an AWFUL name. It reminds me of something you would say if you were really drunk. "I'm so swayze bro." And I LOVED Patrick Swayze, To Wong Foo & Dirty Dancing are my favorite movies, but I would never name my child that.  :-q
