FET after Ectopic

I started IVF in June because of tubal disease. I had my right tube removed back in 2009 and thought since I was going through IVF I was in the clear. June 22nd they put 2 babies inside me. On June 27th I got my BFP and thought everything was going great. I go in for my first HCG on July 1st and my numbers are 147 which was great we checked again in a few days and they had doubled. Well at my 6 week ultrasound there was no baby in my uterus but the baby had implanted in the stump of tube on my right side where I thought my entire tube was gone. The baby had a heartbeat but was in the wrong place. I was diagnosed with a cornual pregnancy.This is a very rare ectopic and 1 out of 50 women die from this type of ectopic. On July 15th, the day after my birthday I was rushed into immediate surgery where they did a laparotomy, a c-section type cut to remove my baby and the stump of tube. My dr also clamped my other tube so that we can put our frozen babies inside in a few months. Everyday is a battle. I'm heartbroken to say the least, but I refuse to give up hope. I have 3 frozen embies and will start my FET in October or November. I would love any advise or support to help me through this. Thank you!

    BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    Welcome to the board,  I'm sorry for your loss and what you had to go through.  It sounds terrifying and frustrating. I had an ectopic with my first IVF cycle and it was terrifying.  The pregnancy eventually popped out of the end of my tube on it's own so my tube was saved. But that just makes me more nervous for each FET that I am going to end up with another ectopic.

    Aww, you have endured a lot. I've suffered from 3, so I understand a bit. Welcome and good luck this fall!

    Three ectopic preganacies in left tube in 1999, 2003 and 2004. HSG in 2010 concluded left tube blockage. IUI with femara in 2012 BFN. IVF #1 June 2013, 20 retreived, 14 mature, 12 fertilized via ICSI, one transferred, four frozen, BFN.  FET in September 2013 - BFN:( FET #2 April 2014 - BFP!!!!

    I'm so so sorry for your loss and for this latest challenge. I hope that everything goes perfectly for you from here. IF is so unfair, and I hope you can find some positivity in knowing that you got pregnant before so hopefully you will have great luck again in the future. Welcome!
    | Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | Me: Endometriosis and Carrier of an X-Linked Dominant Genetic Disorder | DH: Low Morph | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 5AA frozen blasts. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013 ER 5/15. 31R, 21M, 20F. 6 5AA frozen blasts. Our PGD probe was completed in late June (total of 20 weeks to develop). PGD and PGS Results came on 6/19: 3 healthy embryos (normal chromosomes and unaffected by my family's genetic disorder). FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014

    DX: MFI-Very Low Count, I have Hashimotos.
    IVF prep September 2013 cancelled due to Ovarian Cyst
    IVF #1 October 2013 Antagonistic Protocol with ICSI  ER 10/31/13 (18R 16M 11F- 6 blasts to freeze)
    ET delayed due to OHSS 
    FET scheduled for July 8. Delayed due to a crazy high TSH (it had been under control for YEARS!)
    FET #1 8/5/14 sET BFN

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  I will also be doing a FET in the fall after two losses (one from a fresh IVF cycle, one from a FET).  Good luck and welcome!

    Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal

     I'm so sorry for everything you've been through. I also had both tubes removed (last month) due to tubal diesase. Thinking of you & praying your next steps go smoothy!

    Thanks so much ladies for your support. I wish I could just give everyone of you a big hug! I start my FET in Oct or Nov and I am now starting to feel ready and excited about the process again!
