enfamil newborn

Anyone have lo on enfamil newborn and how are they tolerating it? I'm a little confuse on why i cant start on the regular enfamil right away since i says 0-12 months, Do you think its a gimmick?

We use newborn.  Pediatrican said to use it until LO is 3 months. He said it had to do with the ingredients/vitamins in it.  My LO eats it without any problems.

We tried Enfamil Newborn and LO did not like it. She spit up twice as much w/ it for some reason. We switched to regular Enfamil right away and she did better on that but then she was gassy. So we switched to Gerber Good Start Gentle and she's been on that since.

I supplement with enfamil newborn and my son tolerates it well. I did a comparison of infant and newborn and the only difference was additional vitamins.

We used newborn in the hospital and for the like first 3 weeks. As soon as we started on the regular she started having gas and problems popping, now she's on Alimentum. Could be just my baby needs formula that's broken down more like the newborn. I know a lot of babies who started out on regular enfamil and they are doing just fine. WIC in my area only offers regular enfamil so I'm guessing it's fine for newborns if the state is giving it out.
