I gave my MIL and my mom a sweater for Christmas. I feel so bad b/c they were buy 1 get 1 free and my mom's didn't fit. She went to exchange it today but they didn't have the right size so they gave her a gift card.  I didn't ask her how much they GC was valued at b/c I didn't want her to know they were B1G1 free at the time I bought them.  Do you think it is valued at what the sweaters sale for now??? KWIM? I gave my dad a GC to Lowes. Honestly the sweaters were only $30 and then the 2nd was free. So technically it was only $15 which was less then what I spent on my dad. I always try to spend equal amounts on both or at least make it look that way. I know this sounds really cheap for my parents but we (everyone in the family) cut back this year and we decided it would mainly be for the kids.

Macys has those return labels so she would have gotten what you paid, so $15.

don't know about your return question, but everyone got calendars from me.  They were $10, but if you count shipping, $20 b/c shipping was almost more than the calendars.
