Would you look?

Re: Would you look?

  • I had two second degree tears and did not want to see, I did however ask DH to look to see how far back my stitches went to see how far I could wipe to. I think I would pass out if I saw them. Poor DH, he's a trooper

  • I probably would be too curious and would take a peek...and then I'd be very sad for my parts.

  • My poor cousin tore in 3 places, all were 3rd degree tears, she told me her son "ripped her a new asshole" it could be worse! ;)

No. No, no, no, no, no. ETA no idea where these damn smileys are coming from. Nothing to smile about.

  • No thank you. My SIL encouraged me to get a mirror, as it was encouraging for her when she knew she was making progress, but I just don't think I could.

  • Looked after DD and probably will this time. It really wasn't as bad as I expected.

  • I wouldn't look. I don't do well with medical things and can't even look at a skinned knee without almost passing out.
  • I had an episiotomy and did not look. Stitches really gross me out so I have no desire to see what it looks like.

  • No desire to look. My OB kept trying to get me and my husband to feel his head crown and i think feeling or seeing the situation would have freaked me out more. I got a 2nd degree tear and I think it would hurt more if I knew what it looked like. I did look at the placenta and that was very cool!
