Completely flipped out on hubby today...

He came in complaining of how bad his feet hurt and I lost it. Id love for him to feel everything I feel each day between the headaches, the pulling, the peeing every 5 mins, and the list goes on and on.

Does anyone else want to punch their hubby in the face when they complain?

I try not to play the pain Olympics with my husband. He's entitled to express if he's not feeling well, just don't go on and on about it.

He was definitely looking for sympathy. Something he doesn't give me... ever! His favorite thing to say to me is"your cross to bear, Eve and the apple"! Grr lol sorry guess Ijust needed to vent.

Just because you are pregnant doesn't mean your DH can't have feet that hurt. I am supportive when SO has a pain or bad day and needs to vent, and he's very supportive when I am feeling bad, etc. Cuddling is way better than yelling.

Anyone who made this comment to me with the slightest hint of seriousness would be stabbed in the face with the nearest sharp object.

They have no idea and can't. DH is allowed to feel bad and complain, too.

HOWEVER, if he ever said Eve and the apple to me, strong words would be exchanged.

This is exactly what I thought lol. Her H is certainly allowed to hurt and comment on it, but if he's being serious with that statement, it would take everything in me not to react swiftly lol

I guess we're both mean face-punchers.

H has a way of jokingly saying something he really means to keep himself out of trouble. >:/ he shows no sympathy or empathy for that matter but expects it in return. Grumble grumble tonight should be fun. I see an early bedtime in my future.

Idk I kinda think hubby's entitled to have a bad day too. Jesh.
Eta...I'd be pissed about the apple/eve comment. Pretty disrespectful.

Wow, I think this is a bit harsh.  Everyone is entitled to not feel good from time to time.  Just because you don't regularly feel doesn't mean that what he's feeling isn't genuine either.

ETA: Just read the comment about what he said.  I'd be sitting him down to have a serious convo.

Not sure they have serious conversations in their marriage. Sounds like yelling and sarcasm and snide comments.
