I think it's time I introduced myself...

Hi ladies,
I'm Jaytee and I've been lurking here for a couple of months now and thought it was about time I came out to say hi.  I recognize some ladies from TTGP and blog stalking :P

I'm 29, H is 28, we're Canucks from Toronto and we started TTC #1 in June 2012.  I had a pelvic u/s done last month that came back normal so my GP has referred us to an RE.  Our first appointment is next Friday and I'm anxious, nervous, happy to take a step forward, sad to have to take that step - basically a jumble of emotions!  

I love hockey, Tim Hortons, living Canadian stereotypes, my puppy, blogging and blog stalking!  I have a weird aversion to feet, they gross me out, and gnomes - those things creep me the fuck out.  Looking forward to getting to know you ladies :D

    1/2014: Clomid + hcg trigger + TI
    2/2014: Clomid + hcg trigger + TI, natural cycle due to cyst
    3/2014: Clomid + hcg trigger + IUI #1
    4/2014: hcg trigger + IUI #1.2
    5,6/2014: on a mental/emotional health break

    8/2014: first succesful IUI! (but no bfp)

    2/13: DH's T went from 190 to 777!
    Cycle 1 1/25/13: Clomid 100mg + Trigger + TI + Progesterone = Ectopic pregnancy
    3/7/13: MTX injections put me on the bench.
    Cycle 2 6/7/13: Clomid 100mg CD3-7 = No response
    Cycle 2.1 Clomid 150mg CD 19-23 + Trigger + TI + Progesterone = BFN
    Cycle 3 7/21/13: Clomid 150mg + Trigger + IUI #1 + Progesterone = BFN
    Cycle 4 8/25/13: Bravelle 75-112iu + Trigger + IUI #2 + Progesterone = BFN

    Welcome to the board.   :-h  Sorry you find yourself here but hopefully your stay will be short!  Good luck at your RE appt.  I remember being really nervous too before my first RE appt but afterwards, I felt so much relief because we had a plan in place!

    Lap and Hysteroscopy June 2012

    DX: PCOS, Stage III Endo, slight Adenomyosis, blocked tube, and probable LPD

    Treatments:  6 Months Lupron Depot injections; 1500 mg metformin; 3 cycles of Clomid + TI = BFN

    3 endometrial biopsies all were "out of phase" 

    September - December, 2013:  Break to lose weight and get healthy

    40 lb weight loss but still not ovulating "in phase"  

    February - March 2014: bcps + follistim + trigger + TI = BFP

     Beta #1 (12dpo): 30; Beta #2 (18dpo): 500; Beta #3 (25dpo): 7,000!!! 

    1st u/s 4/16: One beautiful hb at 144 bmp 

    2nd u/s 4/29: hb at 166 bmp.  Graduated from RE!!

    Baby girl arrived on Thanksgiving day weighing 7lbs 6oz and measuring 20 inches

    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    10/11-10/12 - tried to conceive naturally with Metformin, due to PCOS never had a cycle
    10/12-12/12 3 cycles of Clomid - fail
    6/13- 1st cycle on Clomid 50mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel- BFN
    7/13 2nd cycle on Clomid 50 mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel 1st IUI - BFN
    8/13 3rd cycle on Clomid 50 mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel 2nd IUI - BFN
    9/13 4th cycle on Clomid 50 mg, Metformin, Follistim, and Ovidrel - Benched with Cysts
    From 12/13 to current I have ovulated 4 times naturally
    Currently on break to get healthy.... 35 pounds down, 13 to go!

    Welcome and sorry you found yourself here.  There are several regulars who are right about where you are in the process including me.  My first RE appointment was just two weeks ago, but we had good timing cycle-wise and are already finished testing.  For me, the worst part was fear of the unknown.  The testing process itself was not a big deal.

    I think that's exactly why I wanted to join in this community - it's so helpful to talk to other women who are going through the same things, as well as ladies who have been there and have some advice to pass on.  Thanks for sharing, I think it's definitely the waiting and the unknown that are getting to me right now.  I'm ready to move forward and come up with a plan.

    I still cannot speak about the Leafs playoff season, it's still too painful, but I will say I was rooting for the Hawks in the finals!  I think it's kind of awesome that Boston felt a little bit of what Toronto felt :P

    Sorry you have to be here, but good luck, and hope that your stay is short!  I know that it can be nerve-wrecking anticipating that first appointment, but hopefully you'll get some good direction and create a plan for moving forward. :)

    November 2012: Paratubal cyst found during U/S.
    January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis. 
    3 cycles of Femara + TI = BFNs

    June 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 37.5 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFN

    July 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 75 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFP!!!!

    Beta 1 @ 11 DPIUI = 76. Progesterone = 27.3

    BFP 8/16/2013 // EDD 4/28/2014

    Jordan Samuel born April 19, 2014. 6 lb, 12 oz and 18 inches long.

    Welcome to the board, I'm sorry you have to be here. GL with your appointment. Moving on to seeing a RE is a weird jumble of emotions.

    September 2012: Start IF testing

    DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA  Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA

    October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos

    November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues.  Converted to freeze all due to lining issues.  2 blasts frozen on day 6!

    January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues

    April 2015: FET #2.1


    PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
