I have thought about having a Christening for J even though we aren't even remotely religious purely because I know we'll get money from my wealthy catholic relatives. I'll never follow through with the thought but when we're going to be owing the hospital $6000+ .....
I hate the "LOVE" button. I know it's supposed to be like Facebook, and to be honest, I don't really notice the LOVES (and I do use them if I really find someone's advice helpful, for instance), but it feels a little like a popularity contest, and is unnecessary.
Also - I like looking at people's houses in the backgrounds of their pictures - not in a creepy way, though. Promise. haha
ETA - but, y'know, if you want to love my posts and pictures of my baby... go for it ;-) And yes, I do "love" posts... but more as an acknowledgement that I saw it.
I put on the BabyTV channel and LO likes it. It has bright colors, big animations and characters, and baby music and sounds. Sure, no baby needs to watch TV, but sometimes it's the only ticket to a trip to the bathroom.

BabyTV? This exists?? I need to find this... I've heard of Dog TV (but my cable system doesn't offer it) but not BabyTV

Oh yes, it exists! I prefer to call it hippie trippy TV cuz it's got tie-dye swirls that moves with the music. It's crazy!

Maybe my FFF post should be that I got way more excited about dogTV than babyTV

With my cable, it's called BabyTV and with my moms satellite it's called BabyFirst.
We still haven't had sex 11 wks pp. Tried twice and failed. I'm worried I'll never feel completely healed.
Here's mine then. We haven't even tried. Today makes 10 weeks pp. I've avoided it because I'm a little fearful. I have a feeling he's going to make a move this weekend and I'm pretty nervous about it.

I use baby tv to distract LO. I've been getting him used to the k'tan. He usually screams but if I let him watch tv while I put him in it... Not a peep!

I've been mobile bumping all summer, but needed my laptop to do school stuff recently. I checked out TB, and my ticker says I am 53 weeks, 1 day. I tried changing it a bunch of times, but when I saw it on my laptop today, it was still the same. My confession is that I am too lazy to figure it out so I'll just be pregnant forever on TB.

We haven't tried and its been 12 wks.
As for tv, My baby watches TV all day long. He loves it. And seriously, he's a baby, its not like its rotting his brain yet. He just sees moving flashing lights. He also loves my iPad or iPhone.

We also haven't tried and its been 11.5 weeks. LO just discovered our iphones. Have you tried the baby rattle app? I guess another confession is I had it downloaded from babysitting my nephew and showed it to LO today. He was seriously amazed - it was very cute. He kept smiling at the sun because the sun gets a smiley face with sunglasses. He even laughed. And then I felt awkward for showing my 11 week old an iphone.
OMG. Just downloaded the rattle app. She's mesmerized!!!! Lol.

**off to download app**. DH downloaded some baby math app for him called "babies don't count." Lol. He likes that one. I have shown him Baby Einstein on YouTube on my iPad. lol. I know they don't make them smarter but its so basic, lots of contrast. He now reaches out for my phone. He *texts* people sometimes. lol
I dozed off while texting, with G asleep on my lap, and somehow managed to drop my phone on his head when I wasn't even holding it over his head. Then I called H and had a complete breakdown.
I swear, if G's head survives my apparent inability to protect it, it will be a miracle I am forever grateful for.

Wow, I honestly did this two days ago. And I was so scared something would happen to her and everything. She cried for like 10 seconds and fell asleep. I on the otherhand cried for like 45 mins. I felt like the worst mother ever

We haven't tried and its been 12.5 weeks. I get my mirena placed Monday so hopefully the next week we will be good to go. DH says condoms aren't effective enough. Of course, we never even bought any. Oh well... One more week (I hope)
Edit: mirena isn't much more effective.. But I'm not telling him that. Really DH, the only 100 proof is not doing it and that is Not an option!
