No advice but we've encountered this with EI. Not so much when LO is wandering but when she's in a very cranky/self preservation mode. However our interventionist usually makes an appointment for later in the week to follow up when this is the case. I'm really worried how this will be handled when she starts Speech... If I'm driving 45 mins one way and dropping a wad of cash ill expect a bit more effort.
I would get a new therapist - that's what I did. My DS had an ABA therapist that didn't know how to handle him and it wasn't like he was doing anything that wasn't a typical behavior associated with ASD. I felt she should have known how to handle the situation. I gave it a month with no improvement so I got a new therapist. Best decision I made.

This is going to be hard because DS loves the COTA.
DS will start the autism class in 2 weeks so I will evaluate if we should continue with the private COTA.
DH said I should talk to the COTA. I don't even know what to say to bring it up. I will have to call him.
