OB wait time

Mine is awful, but pretty much the only choice I have since I am high risk. I spend 5 or 6 hours a week there between two appointments. They act like patients don't have anything else to do, doesn't seem to occur to them how much work I am missing.

I had to wait 20 minutes last week which was my longest wait time..  And that was because as I was in the room having my bp checked my ob stuck his head in and said he had to go do a c-section so I had to wait for the np to finish my appointment.

Usually I get weighed, bp checked and do the pee on a stick thing within 5 minutes of checking with the receptionist and then maybe 5-10 minutes before seeing the ob if that.

Anywhere from 10 min to 45 minutes the last two times since he had emergencies that day. His office is right across the street from the hospital he delivers at. He always apologizes when he comes in the room though.

This - and if I get to the office early, they accommodate me and see me early. We've got 5 practitioners...the doctor in the office is never the doctor on call for deliveries for that day so no unexpected absences.
