Frustrated with Work Changes

I changed jobs back in November because I needed a shorter commute (DH works far away and I'm basically a single parent during the week).  Now my company has been sold and we are part of a new company.  For now things are staying basically the same.  But it sounds likely that we will move to a new location in a year, and my commute will most likely get longer.  I also just found out that new company does NOT offer STD and has no maternity leave policy in place.  We would like to have more children within the next few years.  I'm feeling frustrated that this new company does not seem like a good fit for me personally.  I hate interviewing and the thought of changing jobs again in less than a year just sucks.  I know theres nothing I can do other than start looking, but I just needed someone to vent to.  Sigh...

If I were you, I'd look into getting your own STD. It's really affordable and usually pays 100% or whatever you decide on. As for maternity leave, FMLA should cover your absence. At my company, we technically don't have a maternity leave policy because they provide STD and follow the FMLA guidelines.
