Spinal headache?

Hi ladies! This is a long shot, but did anyone experience a spinal headache with their epidural? I was unlucky and had a wet tap with my epi.!with a spinal headache that kicked in 24hrs after delivery. I couldn't do anything but lay flat on my back for several days after delivery and multiple pain meds weren't helping, so I had a blood patch done. It helped and I felt pretty good the following day, but then I had another spinal headache (although less severe) the following day, and today I have a pain in my spine between my shoulder blades. Just wondering if anyone here had words of encouragement to share with similar stories. I know that all spinal headaches and their symptoms go away, typically in under two weeks, but I have to admit that I'm very frustrated especially when it's pain that isn't responsive to pain meds.

I had a spinal headache after my C-section.  I tried pain meds and hydration but that didn't work so I did the blood patch as well and it worked great.  I was lucky.  I feel for you. The pain of a spinal headache is intense. Like you I could only lay flat and that is definitely not an easy way to take care of a new baby. Hopefully the pain goes away quickly so you can enjoy your LO without that pain.
