Trouble TTC

Follistim Dosing Question

Has anyone ever started out higher for a couple days and then their dose was lowered? I am starting with 150 x 2 days then down to 100. Both other cycles I was on 100 essentially the entire time and had multiple follies. Any input as to why they might do this? Thanks!

My doctor started me off with 150 for about 6 days.  When I went in for my scans usually there were some good follies almost at the size he wanted.  He would lower my dose to 100 for 2-4 days but while using ganirelix.  I have had three iui's with follistim, ganirelix and ovidrel.  Each time the length of the dosage was a little different.  Good luck to you!!!
