The DDs need to stop

If you post and don't like the responses, don't delete.  Just leave.

If someone else posts something that you don't like, leave.  Don't make a big deal of out of it.  Don't email the bump gods like their your mom and you need to tattle on someone.  Find a new place that better suits your way of thinking.

I'm tired all the bullshit.

  • Bump Jackie can suck it again.

  • Seriously, it's out of control. Grow up and take a hint. We aren't a board of rainbows and puppies.

  • Just to be clear, this isn't a board for people who like rainbows and puppies? Because I've only read that about a million times. Change the bloody record will ye.
  • Until people stop trying to change us, the message will be on repeat. We're old and set in our ways damn it!

  • Well I can relate to that :)
  • Ok I'm a newbie, but as an observer I have to wonder if people are posting these "I got 10 BFN's, but could I still be pregnant?" posts (and then deleting them) just to get under people's skin. It seems like some people have nothing better to do than engage in MUD and then enjoy watching the comments and arguing unfold. Maybe I'm wrong, but if people ignored the ignorance and didn't even waste time commenting on those posts, maybe it would stop. I'm not trying to come in here and change anyone or change this board, I just feel like people might be intentionally stirring the pot to get a rise out of people, and if that's the case, they're getting just want they want. It's just a thought. Like I said, I could be wrong.

I am with some of the other newbies though, who are asking that you veterans don't judge all of us based on the actions and opinions of a few.

I don't think anyone is instantly judged just because they are a newbie.  It's not as easy to see if someone is new since the update anyway when they took away post counts in the posts.  It's easy to pick them out though when they start complaining about how everyone is rude and they thought this was a place for support.

Could most of the posts go by without any responses? Probably.  But you need to understand that many of us are on here for some entertainment in addition to figuring out TTC, IF, pregnancy, and parenting.

    Fair enough! ;)

  • So... are good old-fashioned callouts a no-no now?  :(
I think if the person complains enough, yea.

Which is annoying. It takes away from the board's ability to self regulate.

He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be.  He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.
