I'm going through the IUI process with DS for the second time. This month I'm not ovulating on schedule (was supposed to be last Wednesday) so they gave me another round of clomid. Since this process is so stressful, I've been trying to work out but my nurse is adamantly against it. They said no running or jumping, keep my heart rate below 140, and 25 lbs max. I love working out! I do TRX and bootcamps avidly and I lift a whole lot more than 25#.
Last month I did not work out at all and I went insane! Like screaming, yelling and crying at everything so I'm trying to relieve my stress and that works best for me when working out. So, I'm hoping someone out there is having a better time balancing their stress and can give me some options or support...

Sorry you are struggling. Have you ever looked at the guided meditations at Circle & Bloom? I have heard great things! https://www.circlebloom.com/get-started/wanting-to-conceive-programs/ - there is one for IUI.
While being physical is a great stress reliever, the mental discipline for meditation is pretty satisfying in the absence of being about to workout. Another option like PP said is walking - I know where I live there are great 'urban hikes' that are not taxing but fun, outside and a lot of the time I get a friend to catch up with. And, even walking on a flat surface around Greenlake here 2x/around (6 miles) you do feel like something happened
.
Last, I'd just say to try to remember this is not permanent, and picture your baby and it will feel more tolerable. I get the frustration (we all do I'm sure!). Hang in there!
Me (43) and J (45) - same sex couple. And we don't feel 40+!
