Took a fall yesterday.

Yesterday morning right before I was getting ready to take DD to daycare and leave for work, I was reaching up to grab a to-go coffee mug. DD had apparently stepped right behind me, so when I stepped back, I stepped on her foot, then tried to catch my balance while not falling on her. I stepped on her again and then fell back on my butt.

I had been having pelvic pain since 15 weeks and this fall made is almost impossible for me to get up off the ground. I was in so much pelvic pain.

I called DH. He came home, took DD to daycare and then we went to the ER. Babies were great, no contractions and no bleeding. They did do an xray (which I was really worried about, but the reassured me it would be fine) to make sure I hadn't broken or seperated anything. Mostly because I could hardly walk, stand and I for sure wouldn't be able to drive. Nothing broken or seperated, just really jostled my already sore pelvic area. I'm taking Tylenol every 6 hours.

I have my 20 week appointment with my OB on Friday, so until then I'm working from my bed but trying to get up and walk as much as possible so I don't get too stiff.

Rest up! When you are feeling better look into chiropractics, it can help relieve pelvic pain. I started having some around 21 weeks and after 4 visits I feel great!!

Lots of rest! I fell down my stairs last week when my hip gave out from my pelvis becoming so weak. I couldnt breath it hurt so bad. I too have been having extreme hip pains to the point of no walking only I have three hair line fractures on top of it but staying up off your feel will help hope you feel better soon! Im 20 weeks tomorrow so hoping it doesnt get any worse

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling better. Still really sore on my left side but I can get out of bed easier, walk easier and I'm going to give driving a try today.

Glad to hear you're ok! I too took a tumble... 2 weeks ago down our stairs , scary but our bodies are tougher than we think they are!!! Hang in there mama!
