I just went shopping...alone. And bought new makeup....alone. And got to try it on, have my face done AND just wander around the mall aimlessly.

Now I am about to sit down to a cozy dinner and Nest, watch a little TV, etc.

But not before I go "Office Space" on this damn printer of ours. I just bought a new black ink cartridge, and it's still not printing any black.

And the resident computer dork is out of town for three days. Le sigh!!?

HA...I'm so clueless about all this stuff. The woman at the Laura Mercier counter kind of frightened me, she was wearing purple eye shadow, but she was a pro at colors, etc.

I got some of the LM Secret Brightener, pressed powder, cheek colour in Nectar, Lip Stain in Shy Pink and Sateen Eye Colour in Baroque.

I am so excited!!!!?

Oh and eye color in Pewter. It looks very pretty, though I was scared of how dark it looked in the compact.

I've been wanting to try Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown, but the old hags at our Saks don't look like I'd want them to do my makeup so I always just go to MAC, where all the hot young ladies work.

LOL...yeah like I said this woman was younger, but definitely a bit frightening looking. She needs to keep her fingers out of the makeup.

I always prefer them to a look a little scary over members of the blue hair club.  I figure they can tone it down to my level at least.  The hags though... they scare me.  It'd be like letting my grandma do my makeup.  SCARY.
