told the dr. before when he ordered the test for me that my stomach can only hold 4 oz. When you give me a 10 oz drink it's just not gonna fit in 10 minutes. I got in 6 of the 10 oz. before stopping. I LOVED the dr. I had today though- she didn't yell at me or chastise me, but just said that we'd do the screening anyway along with a hemoglobin A1C and if it came back elevated we'd have to look into further testing. If it comes back normal though, they won't know if it's normal or if it's just because i didn't have enough glucose in me. She mentioned jelly beans as an alternative (which is what I tried to tell the previous dr.) for my 24-28 week one. I hate that I have to switch dr.'s each appointment.
Aside from that the appointment went good, heart rates are 156 and 149 and I have to have an AFP screening in 2 weeks. It still is weird that I feel like I'm being treated like a "normal" pregnant person. Although when I apologized for all the questions, she did respond with "it took you 4 years to get in this office, you can ask any question you want". I love her just for that alone.
