formula to milk

DD is one!

we got her off the bottle in a day, no problem.

formula on the other hand, has been an issue. first couple of days she didn't seem to care. but I notice at night she really wants it! I have a little left still, so I have been giving her a bottle ONLY right before bed in a sippy. She has 3 meals and 2 snacks a day and has whole cows milk with every meal.

when you started cows milk did you notice a big change in poops? her poops have been runny and almost acidic to where she gets a small rash! I change her immediately but it is almost like the seconds she sits in it, it hurts her little bum! The minute I stopped cows milk I noticed a change.

it is just her body adjusting? I have her doctor apt on Monday. But I wanted to ask everyone first to see what they have seen/been through too.
I started only giving her milk with lunch yesterday. Her poop seemed normal and her rash is gone! thank goodness. Poor baby girl it was horrible

Did you do a transition....say 6oz. Formula 2oz. Milk then a day or two later 4 and 4, then 2 and 6 milk, then all milk..I didn't have DD totally transitioned to whole milk until around 13 months and even then she was still nursing morning and night so only taking around 8-12oz of milk a day. Just now at 15months have we stopped nursing and she is drinking all cow's milk. She had bad tummy problems with dairy ever time we tried them before around 12.5 months.
