Should it stay a GP name?

So I am really starting to like the name Dashiell, we would definitely use the nn Dash. But is it totally a GP name that would constantly be side eyed? I was thinking either

Dashiell Anthony

FWIW I am not pregnant yet (hopefully VERY soon) but I love thinking about names for future little ones!

I love Dashiell. I immediately think of film noir (Dashiell Hammett) and "dashing" (as in good looking).

This name keeps popping up in my head. I like it but it's on the GP name list for me right now. I'd love to see it more often so I think you should use it.

I really like Dash, but don't like Dashiell. It reminds me of Danielle. I'm not even sure how to pronounce it. I would prefer Dasher.

Dashiell falls into the random surname turned FN category to me. It's just NMS.

An acquaintance named her son Dash, not short for anything, and I did side eye that. I don't get the appeal of giving a kid a verb for a name. Or a unit of measurement.
