picnic gone wrong...

We have had such awesome weather, I decided to have a mommy-daughter day with my LO yesterday at the playground/ beach in Plymouth.  We had so much fun at the swings, going down the slides, building a sand castle, etc... So i figured well a picnic is the perfect way to end such a fun morning.  I set up the picnic area and my DD was laughing while eating a piece of watermelon.  All of a sudden, my LO drops the half-eaten watermelon slice on the ground only to be swarmed by at least 8 different seagulls!!!  My LO was terrified and confused as to what had just happened.  Since the birds would not get away from us after that, I decided picnic was officially over!
