Anyone going on #3? Or considering adding a 3rd?

DH and I have recently decided to stop preventing a 3rd pregnancy - just curious to see if anyone else here is on the same path.  If so, what's the age difference between your kids? My boys are 7 and almost 5, so there will be at least 5 1/2 years between the newb and the current baby of the family.

We are going to start ttc for LO#3 next month. DD is 4 and DS is 3, they are 15 months apart, there will be a 4 year age gap between LO#3 and DS. I'm both excited and nervous!

My DH is 18 years older than his youngest sibling, and there are 6-7 years between him and his 1st brother, and 5-6 between that brother and the next, then another 6-7 between the youngest boy and the youngest of the four kids (the only girl).

I know for DH, his relationship with his brother's wasn't always close because of the age difference, but I know he remembers being the "big helper" with his brother.  DH is 28, siblings are 21, 17 and 10, and he is just now able to really connect with his two brothers.  His little sister, however, is closer to my boys not only in age but also relationship.  For awhile when she was younger, she didn't even know he was her brother because he no longer lived at home with her.  I just don't want there to be that much separation between my kids where they don't feel a sibling connection with their brother/sister.

Im PG with our third. We definitely wanted 3 or more, but the timing was a bit of a surprise. When this one is born, my kids will be 5 and 4

Well I'm in a slightly different boat...we were TTC our second and ended up with #3 as well. DD is 23 months and the boys are almost 3wks old now.

We are expecting number three now. DD1 will be closing in on 11 and DD2 will be almost 3. There was an 8 year age gap and it worked really well. DD1 was old enough to entertain herself and be helpful. My girls even share a room because they like sleeping together.

we stopped preventing in April. I just found out I'm pg with #3. My girls are 5 & 2 1/2. Looks like little one is due the week DD 1 turns 6. DD2 will be 3 in December

We are going to start trying for #3 after this cycle!  We have a 6 year old and almost 2 year old.  I would have liked my first 2 to be closer in age but things just don't always work the way you plan:)
