How many body parts

How many body parts does your LO know? 

Alex knew his ear only for the longest time (and everything was always his ear, not just his ear ;-)). Over the past 3 weeks or so, he has learned so much more! He now knows his hair, ear, eyes, nose, mouth, belly, foot and hands. It's crazy how fast that came all of a sudden! 

(And when I say "he knows it", I mean he points to the right body part when I ask "Where are your eyes?", for example.)

He learned tummy and hair right around his birthday. Currently he knows those plus: belly button, eyes, nose, ears, mouth, tongue, teeth, toes and hands. So 11 total I think.

E knows a lot of body parts, but I don't really keep count.

My favorite new "body part" that she learned is Where is mommy's baby? She points to my stomach, lifts my shirt, and gives my belly a kiss....Something tells me bringing home an actual baby will be a harder transition for E, lol.

Daycare was actually surprised that Wyatt knew as many as he did.  I think he just learned them by me constantly saying them.  But he knows...

Head, Hair, Ears, Eyes, Nose, Mouth, Arms, Hands, Fingers, Belly, Bum, Leg, Knees, Feet, Toes.

She knows most of her parts: head, hair, face, eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, tongue, ears, chin, arms, elbows, hands, fingers, stomach, belly button, legs, knees, feet, toes, back, butt, boobs (always funny when she shows visitors where their boobs are...)

Hmmm... She knows eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, hair, head, tongue, hands, knees, toes, belly, and bellybutton. She'll point to all of those if I ask her about them. She can say some of them - eye, toes, teeth, hair, bellybutton. She is kind of obsessed with eyes. It seems like she's always pointing to someone's eye and saying "eye".

DS is the same way, I don't think he's interested in pointing to them. He touches his belly button and beeps our nose but that's about it! His attention span is short!

DS knows hair, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, tongue, toes and belly button for sure.  He will point to them on himself and on others. 

 I think he knows leg, arm, and hands. I ask him when I am dressing him and he gives me those parts, but never points to them.

This thread gave me so many more ideas for body parts to teach him. :-) 

He does know his tongue and penis, too.
