CM after D&C (TMI WARNING)

 

 

I'm apologizing in advance to those who read this and get grossed out, but I warned you!.....So my D&C was 6/17, had light to moderate on and off spotting for about 2 weeks after. Now I have a weird CM-like stuff. It's almost like spotting, but the consistency of CM, and it has a yellow-ish/brown-ish tint to it. No other symptoms.  Has anyone experienced this?

I tried to call my OB, but never got through. 1st time I called, the office was at lunch, then I didn't get a chance to call again until after they called and I got the answering service. I didn't think it was emergency enough to talk to the answering service and wait for a call back.  But I plan to call the office again tomorrow! I'm just looking for a little input if anyone else had something like that....

(Again, sorry for the TMI)

    I didn't' have weird discharge after mine but it might be left over stuff. It could also be a bacterial infection.

    I would try again. You could have some sort of infection going on.

    After my d&c I had some yellowish/stringy brown cm about 3 weeks after. The doc said it was deciduous (I think something along those lines) tissue. Are you running a temp or is it odiferous? Any pain? Def try to get in touch with you doc tomorrow.

    Yes, I had something that sounds very similar to what you're describing.  In my case, I had a period (or something like a period) a month after my D&C, and after it ended I had spotting for about a week, and then I started having some yellow/brown CM.  It was like EWCM, but colored.  It was right around the time I O'd, so I think it was just a combination of CM and spotting.  It turned out a still had hCG in my system, and maybe some retained tissue, which I think might have caused the spotting.  I would still check with your doc just to be safe!

    That EXACTLY.... I couldn't describe it. But that's it.  I'm not temping, never did. But I think now, I'm going to have to start.

    Wait, or did you mean like a fever? If that's what you meant, no.

     

    EDIT: No other symptoms. No odor, no discomfort...

    I had some stringy-gooey light brown stuff two days before AF showed this time. Definitely no yellow color to mine though.

    I had brownish creamy discharge for about 10 days starting a week after my d and c.

    ETA...hit post too soon. If what you are experiencing really is more yellow, call the dr. Yellow may = infection from what I understand.
