I changed DS's diaper this morning and the poop was BLACK. It hasn't been black since he was a newborn. I freaked my shit out and called the pediatrician, whi asked if he'd had any blueberries. He didn't to my knowledge but I called my mom (who'd had him yesterday) and yes, he had a ton of blueberries.

So, he is not bleeding internally, and PSA: Blueberries = black poop.

We have frequent black poops here. K eats so many blueberries I'm surprised he hasn't turned into one.

HAHA!!  It's funny now that you know it's fine.  

And yes, Emily's poop is black just about every other day!  She is a blueberry MONSTER!

Glad you posted this! We haven't had black poop yet but now I won't be so scared if we do!

We also have a blueberry monster. It's her #1 favorite food and DH always complains when he had to change a poopy. It's gross.

That is scary!  Black beans do that to my  LO . It freaks me out every time!
