Freezing Avocado

I'm sneaking over from the 3-6 month board, but I was just wondering if anyone has frozen avocados, either puréed or sliced, for baby. DH bought a big bag of them at Sam's, and they just went from underripe to almost overripe in just a few days. I know I can't eat them all before they go bad (more like, I know I shouldn't eat them all, lol), and I've read that some people have had success freezing them in slices for baby, and I was wondering if anyone had done so and had any luck!

I've pureed they and frozen them, so I bet it would be the same.  It turns brown, but doesn't seem to affect the taste.

I saw that, just wanted to know if anyone had first-hand experience doing so.

I have pureed it and put it in the freeze. It actually stayed green.

I've done it and all went well... Turned brown a bit but taste was fine

I do it all the time, and Baby G loves it.  Puree the avocado while ripe, then put in an airtight container (we use the Baby Bullet), and stick it right in the freezer.  It stays perfectly green.  Just put it in the fridge to defrost overnight the day before you plan to feed it to you baby.  Enjoy!
