Phoenix Babies

Daycare - Phoenix

So my daughter (2 1/2) has been begging everyday to go to school! I moved here from the East Coast and I am at a loss as to where to start looking. Any recommendations? I was thinking a place where she could go 2 days a week and see how it goes. I live in Central Phoenix and received one recommendation for The Family School. They charge @ 150-200 a month for 2 days a week (8:30-12:00) But can not find any reviews for them. Looking for ANY recommendations, thanks!

Re: Daycare - Phoenix

  • We go to PVUMC (Off Lincoln just West of Tatum). Not sure how far that is from you, but it's a GREAT school!!! Christ Church down the road is excellent too. The other school I've heard of in central phoenix is Creative Bridges. I have a few friends that kids go there and they really like it. I have never heard of the Family School. I guess it depends on if you are looking for more of a daycare or a preschool. The ones I mentioned are preschools.
  • I'm a teacher in Central Phoenix and a ton of my colleagues send their kiddos to The Family School and rave about it. We are considering it for when DD is older.

  • There is a great daycare at North Phoenix Baptist Church. It is on the corner of Central and Bethany Home. GL.
  • When our LO is 3 we will be sending her to Khalsa Montessori Primary School, as that's the earliest age they accept. I used to work there and it's such a positive, relaxing, educational environment. I don't know if they have a twice-a-week option. It's on 3rd street and Palm, so maybe worth looking into.
