Multiples

Update on an old thread.

I posted a few months ago asking for advise with beginning potty training, switching to toddler bed, and killing the night time bottle.

Potty training went great with the younger twin. He only has about one - two accidents a week. The older one though isn't quite ready although he is very jealous of his brother and it is helping him get there.

The switch to toddler beds went great. The first night they climbed into bed with together and I didn't think to separate them when I went to bed which was a big mistake. They woke each other up around 2:30 am and didn't want to go back to bed. After that though there has been no problems I go in there and lay them down read them a book turn the light out and leave and they just go right to sleep. And when they wake up in the morning they get up and come get me. Although, we still keep everything child safe incase they do decide to wander.

And the bottles, we have not been completely successful in getting rid of it(we started trying 4 weeks before introducing the toddler beds, to stager stuff some). They have cut down the amount they are now only 2oz of water instead of 5oz, and instead of giving them to the kiddos we put them in there beds in a place they know to get it if they want it. Some nights they don't but most they do.
