OK, I don't post here a lot but I read/lurk from time to time. You have all posted great multipes comments but I am pretty sure I win!
I was at day care friday picking up the kids. Picture this, I was sitting in their rocking chair with both twins on my lap, facing out. They are 13 months old and started there at 6 months. The staff has not turned over. They know my kids. That have changed thousands of their diapers.
One of the teachers said to me, "Do you know yet if they are fraternal or identical?"
YET!?!?
That is a quote - do you know YET if they are identical or fraternal?!?!?
I was like, um, do YOU see a difference?
Since I don't post often you know know my kids, so I will tell you that he has about 3 inches and 4 ponds on her and he has all the hair. Oh and he is a BOY and she is a GIRL!

When my sister had her b/g twins I had babysat and was at the store. A lady came up to me and asked:
"Are they twins?"
"Yes"
"Are they identical?"
"Yes, except one has a penis, the other has a vagina. He is bigger than his sister by a few pounds. She has more hair. They don't look alike, but are otherwise identical"
She bought it! I mean, they really didn't look alike, plus one was dressed very much like a little boy, the other you knew was a little girl. She thought they were identical though after my smart a$$ remark! She said "Well, it'll be hard to figure out who is who when they get older then, I suppose." Yep, hard as can be. One looks like a girl and the other like a boy, look like siblings but not twins. He is taller and skinny, she is shorter and skinny (2-3 inch difference) Otherwise you can't tell them apart. *smh*
When a friend of mine with twins was asked how it was having twin newborns, they respond with: "you know what it feels like when you're drowning? Then someone throws you a baby..."

My cashier at the grocery store saw my twins and said, "My daughter has 2 kids 15 months apart-it's just like having twins."
I just said, "ok".
