Non FTMs: thermometers

Hey veteran mamas,
I received 3 different thermometers at my shower today, and hoping I don't end up with more at today's shower!, but I'm wondering if it's the kind of thing that breaks often. I can only return one, as it's the only one that came with a gift receipt. It's actually the only one I registered for. Should I just keep them all?

Safety first oral
American Red Cross, oral, underarm, rectal

I'd keep the ARC one since it can be used in a variety of ways. I think a back up isn't a bad idea either cause they can suddenly crap out on you, although I prefer the thermometer that you use on the forehead, out of them all.

This. The forehead one is the best. You can get it at Rite Aid or most drug stores for under $20.

Keep them all. They won't die, but I've lost or forgotten them when I've needed them and having a back up for the diaper bag was nice.
