infant stroller recommendations?

I'm really wanting the kind of stroller that you can just snap in the 2 infant car seats and go (i was looking at the baby trend double snap and go).  Unfortunately, that stroller is not compatible with the Graco Snugride 30 car seats we wanted.  I really don't want to go for the chicco keyfit car seats because they are so heavy.  Any recommendations on compatible strollers and/or car seats that work together?  Thanks!

Re: infant stroller recommendations?

  • I have the joovy twin roo. Graco seats snap in as do Chicco and peg seats.

I really like it in my limited experience with it. It is heavy, but I don't think you'll get away from that w much twin gear.

  • A million thank you's!!!!!!!   I don't mind the stroller being heavy, I was more concerned with the weight of the car seats with the babies in them lol.

  • Quick question- i see they will face side to side instead of tandem-like.  Do you find it hard going through small doors, etc... with it like this?  The car seats look like they stick out on the sides.

  • It's my understanding that the older model of the DSNG will let you snap in Gracos. We had the model from 2012 and Chicco seats, so we always strapped them in instead of snapping. But, I remember seeing that the Gracos worked well with the last model. You might be able to find another twin mom through your multiples club or something on Craigslist with the other model. I highly recommend the DSNG if you can make it work. It's crazy light and not too expensive. GL!

I haven't put it through too many space tests yet so I can't say for sure, but I haven't had any issues fitting it in places or through doorways. It's definitely still narrower than a side by side.

  • I have a babytrend double snap n go and it takes our Graco Snugrides. We got it secondhand barely used and it's a little more than a year old. I love it! Our local consignment store gets them every few months so maybe check around your area too?
