For those of you worried about how you/your SO would bond with an adopted child, I wish you could have seen DH 5 minutes ago. As background: when we were first looking into adoption, he told me he had to deal with feelings about not having a biological connection to a child. Yet a year later, when he first met DD, he was smitten. He just got back from an 11-day trip and I have never seen him more excited to see DD. It was the sweetest thing ever.

Awwww. I was a bit worried about this as well---but after having the baby home for a few days, yeah. Not worried about bonding. Not even a little. I even think his poop is cute.
