Fashion advice needed! Can I wear this to work?

So I bought these https://www.coldwatercreek.com/product-detail/64593/71437/natural-ponte-flare-pant.aspx?colorid=419&refLink=search.aspx in black because they were on sale and the model makes them look dressy.  I haven't ever bought anything 'ponte' before, and really, they look like yoga pants but the fabric feels heavier and not as clingy.  I teach kindergarten, so while there is a dress code at school, the kiddos aren't going to critique my sloppy pants.  Can I get away with wearing these with a dressy top/cardigan?

I agree. I can't see them with your link but from what you've described I think you could get away with it, especially if you dress it up on top.

That's what I was afraid of; coworkers (especially the principal, who is super fashion-forward and adorable every day) would think I am wearing yoga pants.  I'll probably end up wearing them anyway on one of my don't-feel-like-ironing mornings.

I thought so too!  If I saw that lady on the street, I wouldn't know they are knit pants.

Could you wear them with a tucked in blouse? I think the pockets are what makes them look very non-yoga, so being able to see them helps.

I would! And we have a business casual dress code.
