Also, I am a professional baker, the price is not unreasonable.  Cakes take a lot of labor hours.

  Even cakes I made as favors for friends before I went pro were not free and my friends never assumed they would be.  The only "free" cake I've ever made was for my BIL's wedding, but that was their wedding present.

Haha.  I thought the same thing but was on mobile the other day and didn't have the energy to type it out. lol

She must be going by the old "4 weeks = 1 month" miscount and counting 32 weeks as 8 months???  Since that's what she'd be when the cake is due. 

See.  I over thought it too.

The CNN Health loop that plays in my perinatologist's office has a little "commercial" thing that says pregnancy is 10 months, not 9 (and talks about the importance of staying pregnant for as close to 40 weeks as possible). It's so annoying, because anyone that has ever looked at a calendar should know that a month isn't exactly 4 weeks, except for February, and pregnancy is NOT 10 months.
