Are You Ready For Some Football?!?!?!?!

So this hasn't been discussed since I've been on the board, i don't believe, but how many football fans do we have here? For me its been a long 6 months. I was raised on football, oddly enough by my mom. I just hope my son will like it too. I will try my best to raise him as a Dolphin fan and pray that he doesn't choose a different team in spite of me like i did to my mother. So, if you are a football fan do you plan on doing fantasy football? More than 1 league? Last year was the first time i did fantasy football, got my wife into it also. It was cool getting her into all the games. I was so proud when she would yell at the TV or when we would be talking about a team and she knew players and coaches by name. Any of your wives into it? So like i mentioned im a Miami Dolphins fan. I've loved them through good times and bad, mostly bad, but none the less i love them. I will stick by them even with their new girly logo. That i do not love. Do any of you collect sports paraphernalia? I know a couple of guys that want to but their wives wont allow it. I'm lucky mine doesn't care. I have a pretty decent collection of Dolphin and Hurricane stuff []_[]!!! Sorry for rambling on, its late and for some reason im wide awake, but at least this thread should have plenty to talk about now. Ok im done.

Last year I was in 3 leagues... we had one for the board too. My wife, I'm lucky if I can get her to watch a game that isn't the Super Bowl, let alone play fantasy football. She uses the time I spend watching football upstairs catching up on her DVR in peace (or as much peace as you can get with 2 kids in the house).

As far as collecting, I have a few things from my bachelor days, but money is best spent elsewhere now. I haven't even sprung for one of the "new" jerseys Nike makes now.

I am a football fan and hopefully I can watch more of my Steelers instead of the Clowns since I live in Akron.

I am also a strange bird since a lot of my family went to Penn State, my dad got his PhD from Wisconsin and I went to OSU for a quarter after living in Columbus for a decade.

I don't like clutter so I just get t-shirts of my teams.

For my son, I get him Steelers and Buckeye clothes while thankfully her family who loves the clowns don't get him much clothing.

I have yet to convert my wife into a Dolphins fan, she will root for them unless they play Green Bay. She has no particular reason for liking them, she just pick a team and went for it. Im just happy she is into it.
