A different kind of O cramp

(I totally just typed "O crap" at first.)
My O pain is always a sharp pinch on one side, usually the right. But today I'm having actual cramps, the kind that come in waves and radiate down my legs and make my feet feel achy, just like AF cramps.
No, I don't think I'm KU.
This is definitely O time. It's just really weird; midcycle cramping is very unusual for me. Anyone else have menstrual-like cramps at O time? Or is my poor overused ute just telling me and DH to take a break from all the HIO this week?
