Hunger and VERY early pregnancy question

Hello!  I'm not officially re-introing here yet, but I hope you don't mind if I ask a quick question.  Has anyone experienced extreme hunger in early pregnancy before?  I normally have a healthy appetite because I'm fairy active, but I eat a balanced diet and I don't often feel hungry per se.  The last few days have been completely different.  I feel like I eat and then half an hour later I'm so hungry that it hurts.  Like I have really bad hunger pains.  When I eat, they are gone, but then they come right back.  Now I'm worried I'm making this up as an excuse to eat more!  Has this happened to anyone else?

I had this weeks 5 and 6 constantly. I'd eat, and then feel super hungry within another hour. I'm 9 weeks today (knock on wood) and I feel hungry but naseous at the same time.

I was a fairly active jogger/runner before I started IVF cycles, I'm not sure if it's from previously being active (it's been awhile I started IVF cycles in late 2011).  I've heard PIO can make you hungry, I take .5ml PIO everyday and Endometrin 3x a day.  So.. could be hormones, could be normal pregnancy stuff..could just be me .

Yes. I had it so bad too. It evened out when I started having evening nausea. Enjoy it while you can. Also food tasted so much better than normal in those first weeks.

I'll be 7 wks tomorrow and have hunger pangs all the time. I eat something small every hour or so to keep them at bay and to keep from feeling too full. GL!!

I did. I kind of wondered if the progesterone made me extra hungry.

I had extreme hunger and I'm know for eating healthy. But I craved junk all through the first tri. It's all about survival with m/s. Also, I gained 10 lbs in the first tri and was worried I was gaining too fast. I'm a little over 28 weeks(my ticker is wrong) and I always get comments on how small I look. People just gain weight differently. So far I gained more in the first tri than the second and my little guy is still measuring ahead.

I totally had this in the very beginning, like when I was 3.5 to 5 weeks (started before I knew I was PG).  Three days after my transfer DH made me a big, yummy steak dinner...I ate a ton...and I was seriously starving a 1/2 later!  Lasted a little while longer and then it went to the opposite...food did not sound good!  Eat up while you can!

I've noticed that I can't eat to much in one sitting but I get hungry within an hour. I've just been carrying snacks with me.

Thanks for the reassurance.  It sounds like I'll just eat up while I still can!
