DS ate part of his crib...

I know this is not the first time I have posted about what DS ate...I put him in his crib so I could take a shower. When I came back, he had chewed off the wood finish in two places on his crib. He had flakes all around his mouth. It is a BRU crib. Surely it would not be toxic, right?
IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54 2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12
Feb./March 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undectable) and AFC = 4;
BFP from supps ~ DS#2 due May 2014

    I think they expect it with cribs. Before we bought the teething rail covers, both of my boys had white flakes on their mouths from chewing the crib. That was a couple of months ago. It's horrible, but I assume it's okay.

    Oh my goodness, kids! Surely it's safe, they expect it with babies.

    Both of my kids have done that.  I have since bought those little fleece bumper things you can tie over the top of the crib.
