2nd Chair?

DD will be 17mo when this baby is due. I was thinking in the MOTN about our glider/recliner. Do you have 2? With her we had it in our room for the first 5mo while she slept in there and will want the same with the new baby, but our room is on the opposite side of the house from hers and I think we'll still want something in her room (or at least upstairs) for bedtime stories and snuggles after bad dreams. Nice chairs aren't cheap, so I'm wondering what others have done.

I probably would have but I don't have room in my younger baby's nursery.

We didn't plan on getting a 2nd glider, but my mom ended up giving us one (it had been at her house), I'm still really happy we have 2.  Even now that DS is 17months and DD is almost 3, we still use both for their bedtimes.  You could get a cheaper chair, the one we bought wasn't very expensive, or look on craigslist.

We'll have two. There are tons of good condition ones on Craigslist for 50% off or more, I'm sure if I start looking well in advance I'll find one in a color that doesn't make me angry
