Fell putting pants on....

I feel like a moron but this really happened. I fell sideways and landed on my hip. Anyone else have a fall this early? Should I worry? I think everything is pretty padded in there, but figured I'd ask...

Somewhat unrelated, but should make you feel better-when I was in eighth grade I dislocated my knee putting in pants. That was a fun story to tell. I was not a graceful child! But I've noticed my balance is a little off these days. Your hip should be ok. Are you having any sharp pain or swelling? You probably needn't worry about breaking anything.

Thanks.  I'm sure my hip is fine, just maybe a little bruised.  I was more worried about the baby than myself.

I fell down two stairs a couple weeks ago and landed on my butt. My doctor said this early you should be fine, but to call if you have bleeding.

I fell while walking my dogs when 22 weeks pregnant with my son. A loud car scared them and they tripped me. I fell on top of one dog (belly down on the sidewalk). I was all scraped up and sore. The doctor's office said just to watch for bleeding. I had an appt the next day anyways so they checked me and I was fine. They said that the baby is very well protected inside of you and not to worry. My mom fell hard on ice when far along with me and they said the same thing.

my gf fell on the ice at 9 weeks and hit hard, she's not 28 weeks along and baby is great. I fell a few weeks ago too and i've had 2 u/s since and everything is great. at this point baby is so well protected that unless you beat yourself with a bat or something, he/she will be fine

I got pummeled by a wave at 17 weeks with my first and was totally fine.

I fell at the grocery store yesterday..stupid yogurt. If you dropped some yogurt, wouldn't you tell someone so they can clean it up? I'm just glad it was me and not the little old lady who came to my side when it happened.

My hip is bugging me so badly. Wondered about baby too, but am believing everything is ok.

Thanks everyone!  No bleeding or cramping, so I think I'm okay.  Phew.  My 2 yr old watched me do it.  I think she was so confused as to what Mommy was doing.
