My male chihuahua hurt his front leg while playing with my other chihuahua. I looked over it and cannot see any cuts and it doesnt look swollen. I can move it without him yelping but I can't touch his paw very hard. How long should I waiting before calling the vet ?

I'm assuming nothing is broken and he probably sprained sonething

I should add that he is not using it to walk really

It wouldnt let me delete this post. I called on friday and they saw him saturday morning. They all thought he just sprained it but I asked for an xray. Sure enough he fractured his hand.
