I am 30.5 weeks and due October 5th with my 4th child and 1st girl. I was diagnosed at 28 weeks with Pre-E. and put on modified bed rest. This is my 4th pregnancy and 3rd time having it. (It developed much later with my boys). I have been going in weekly for NST and monitoring. I had my first 24 hour urine collection 2 weeks ago (levels were 410) and and a 2nd today (levels had jumped to 649). I recieved the first set of steroid shots last friday. Every time I go in my blood pressure has been low it was 118/63 during my NST today. I have had no swelling and very minor headaches. After seeing my 24 hour results today my doc wants to see me Saturday morning for blood work, a NST, and possible ultrasound. I am trying not to panic but not feeling optimistic. My goal was to make it to 34 weeks and there is a strong possibility they may schedule my c-section on Saturday (31 weeks)...depending on results from labs etc. Either way I am terrified and know I will be joining this board officially very shortly.
Re: An introduction
Good luck to you. I hope your baby can keep safely cooking for much longer. But, if not, it is great that you have had the shots and babies born early due to pre-e tend to do better than babies born early for other reasons.
