Grunting

DD seems to do alot of grunting when she is angry/frustrated and tired. Other times she babbles and makes recognizable noises. Is this totally normal??

My DS makes these deep throated growling sounds earning him the nickname, Baby Bear.  He also makes other crazy, odd sounds while going through out his day.  I think it's just a learning how to vocalize and manipulate the vocal chords thing.   (Unless it's *that* grunting.  You know...the sound of the poop monster.)

My LO grunts all the time! When she first started doing it, it was all the time and had no comparison to her mood. But now the daycare says she does it when she's mad. It's just so cute all I can do is laugh lol

Yeah, DD makes some really bizarre noises. Sometimes they're very Predator-like, sometimes she sounds like a monkey, other times she sounds like a bear. Plus she blows raspberries like it's nobody's business. It's kind of cute, once you get past the ear-piercing parts.

Lol! LO was making an EEERRRRRRRRR sound up until this last week and suddenly it's like someone flipped a switch and she's actually babbling!

Mine does it too, we call him T-Rex now because its almost like he's growling!
