I put DD down for her morning nap about an hour ago, and after fussing a bit, she got nice and quiet. I'm constantly paranoid that quiet = not breathing, so of course I go check on her. She was apparently knocked out, until my dumba$$ walked up our creaky stairs. Now that she got that taste of sleep (that lasted all of 5 minutes), she wants to party. Am I the only FTM who constantly needs to check to make sure my LO is actually breathing while they're sleeping? I can't tell you how many times a night I reach over and put my hand on her belly or sneak into her room while she's napping to make sure.

Our IVF miracle, Baby Boy M, arrived on 11/8/2012!
I did it (and of course woke her up)-- once. After that, I gotta trust that she can breath on her own. her sleep (and my sleep!) are too important!
Plus, once they hit 6 months, the risk of SIDS goes way down, so my worry went way down, too : )
