You are in Scotland, correct?
My grandmother's family is from there is she has been interested in her family lineage, etc.  She has always wanted to go there before she dies (she's 83). Anyway, we told her when you sell your house and move closer to us, we'll take you to Scotland.  Well looks like her house is closing next week (fingers crossed).  She hasn't brought the trip up yet but I kinda want to surprise her with it.  When is a good time of the year to go?  What do you recommend we see?  Etc.  I had dome some minor ancestry background on her family but Scotland's records were not public at that point so I didn't get very far.
