If I stayed home when it rains, we'd be home A LOT. Yes, it sucks hauling my 3 kids through the rain but I have to do it. It seemed much harder in the beginning but now it's no big deal.
It depends. It's not like we automatically stay home, but I will say that it's less likely that we'll go out. I don't enjoy traipsing around in the rain and I dislike even more having to schlep my kids along in it.
If we have something to do, then for the most part, we'll do it (unless it's like a hurricane outside or something!). If we don't have any plans, then eh. Like today...it's just wet, drizzling, but not really raining anymore, but we'll probably stay home. We have a roofer coming at 2 to look at a leak anyways, and DS is napping, so if we do do anything, it would just be for a little bit. But yea...probably staying in.
it depends. This summer the weather has been so crappy by me. Either raining or 105+ degrees. If the weather is nice all week, and one rainy day we would probably stayed in and and relax. (Have a lazy movie day, art projects, etc) However if the weather is raining for 2+ days straight--nope. Unless it is torrential downpours.
Besides a couple months in the summer, the weather here is pretty much always crappy. We would be stuck at home for a month at a time if we didn't go out at all in the rain.
Depends on how much rain. If it's just showers or light rain, we deal. If we are talking about torrential downpours, we stay home unless it's important.
We usually just continue with our plans. It's pouring this morning and we're out. DS1 has camp and the other kids and I are going to go shopping (currently in parking lot waiting for babies r us to open) until it's time to pick him up. We were supposed to have a playgroup at a local sandbox right after pickup which will be cancelled since it will be mud but I plan to let the kids play outside in the rain once we get home. Unless there's lightening, I don't mind rain.
It depends. We live in a small area so there's not much to do. We might do the library if it's raining or run to the grocery store but the pool and park are our summer time activities and when it's raining we skip those.
It depends. If I already had plans to go somewhere or do something and it is only light rain or drizzle then we will usually still go and make due. If it is downpour or raining all day then we are more likely to stay home and veg out.

If we already have activities planned that aren't outside we do whatever was planned. If we had no plans or they were outside and got canceled we stay in. I don't like the mall at all so I'd much rather stay home than go there. In the past year the single time I've been inside an indoor mall was to get pictures with Santa and then we parked as close to Santa as possible and were in and out. My shopping is either at an upscale strip mall or a really nice open air outlet mall.
Yeah, it basically rains here every day autumn, winter, and spring, haha. If we stayed home, I'd go insane. We go out! Anywhere! Library reading time, moms group get-togethers, the mall, running errands, mommy and me classes, a free preschool program run through local schools, stroller walks, going to the park to feed ducks, etc. There's really just as many things to do when it's raining than otherwise....
Yes, we still go on about our day because Emily has been in school 2years and we still have to get up, get ready, walk to school, etc. I do mark those days with Nolan as "indoor" play days so we will go to bounce house, aquarium, or other indoor play place. Some days, rarely, after we get Emily to school, we'll come home and stay home.
This. I can't imagine staying home just because of rain. A terrible thunderstorm with hail and lightning, we will wait that out, but otherwise we get out. Same with snow, barring heavy blowing, drifting snow or travel advisories, we go out.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!
We go out, rain or shine. We have a dog who thinks the back yard is part of the house, so we have to take him on walks to do his business. His GI tract does not take a day off just because it rains.
If its an indoor activity yes, I really hate getting wet and trying to juggle an umbrella, diaper bag, and child. I'm always afraid I'm going to land face first into a mud puddle
