We get it. You want to have a circle jerk with Jorleny and Jordyn. Look, if you say crazy things people will point it out. If you respone with even more crazy shit, people will continue to point it out. If you say that you hope your babies are in pain people are gonna point it out. People have said multiple times that this board is, in general, pretty tame. If it is soooo terrible maybe you should not continue to post here, instead of continuing to bring it up. We get it, you thought people were too mean. Whether they were or not, your continued harping and moaning on the topic isn't going to change anyone's feelings on the issue, or their behavior.
I think Jorleny was fueling the fire to some degree but Jordyn's incident was uncalled for. She wanted her hubby to taste what a rough day feels like, its somehow unfair the one time they have them that the LO sleeps 8 hrs straight. I'm positive she doesn't want her LOs in pain. She has been on this board for a long time and everyone jumped on her like a pack of hyenas. I understand your all starved for entertainment but it shouldn't be at the expense of our ...we've been on this board long enough that I'm going to say ...friends

From what I can recall, no one jumped on her or name called or anything. She asked if we agreed/would do the same and people answered honestly - no, they wouldn't wish that for their husband/partner. She got upset because we took her seriously, but if she was asking a question she was going to get answers. There was no "lol j/k" in that post to signify otherwise.

I do not like the distinction between EP and EBF.  The baby is getting the same thing in the end.
To me, EBF encompasses EP, but EP is its own beast and when you make the distinction, its easier to find others in your situation for support and tips/tricks. I don't think its necessarily a negative thing. :)

  • FWIW, I didn't mean my post to be literal. I love my H and love that he will be getting one on one time with our girls. But do I hope he can finally experience first hand what I do everyday...yes. The good, the better and at times the "pull your hair out" moments. I loved being so active on this board during my pregnancy, but I say one wrong thing or somethings are taken too seriously and I'm bat sh!t crazy.
I don't think anyone called you BSC? All I remember is that you asked a question, got serious answers, realized that people were taking you seriously, and then clarified, which could have seemed like back peddling.

FWIW, everyone is known for something eventually and its really not a big deal. At least you didn't admit to accidentally leaving your kid in the car to go shopping or try to get your farmer boyfriend to deliver you because he's delivered calves before (these were all serious posts in bump history).

    Yikes!

I wish I would have reworded the whole thing so that I wasn't "known" as that kinda person. I'm really not. I think a majority of my posts have been pretty positive but one mess up and I feel like an outcast in a place that use to feel so inviting. I realize its the Internet, but I'm human. As human as everyone else and sometimes we make mistakes. I'm owning up to it!

Agreed. And I guess then my UO is that I'm not a fan of the song in general. When it comes on, I change the channel. There are other songs that are way better that deserve more airtime!

I kind of love this song

  • For the record, the women on this website are the most helpful and generally want to help others with their situation. If any of you needed anything I would try my best to help you in any way I could. I guess we will agree to disagree about how we conduct ourselves when something controversial comes up. There is one thing we all agree on though. We all hate Mondays.

On topic, I hate how people out here think it is funny to honk their horn while I am walking my son in the stroller or burn rubber. I now carry a rock because I am waiting for the next time someone does donuts near my son and I. I promise I will break a window.

@jordyn- you didn't mess up and you aren't "known" for your comment. I mean, c'mon! we knew what she meant. Stop reading into it as if she wished pain on her child. My god, I've sat back but this is ridiculous... It's like you beat apologies out of people. Lighten up!!! Talk About taking something out of context and running with it. Stop already.
Um, you "sat back" the last 9 days you have had an account? Stop telling people what to do. It rarely goes well. And it make you known as the super annoying bossy newbie.
Here goes the nasty little jabs that this board just can't seem to live without...not necessary. So sorry- I wast aware that I couldn't voice an opinion like the rest of you since I'm a "newbie". I mean this in the nicest way possible- get over yourself. I just find it hard to see something someone said being manipulated. @ jordyn- trying to come to your defense... Help me out here haha to everyone else- I'm really not here to start sh** nor do i need a replay of my first day here...please don't snap at me and get all nasty when I voice an opinion. I simply didn't like what was being insinuated about jordyn. Not cool. At least I know I wouldn't want that said about me. It's a huge insult to tell someone you believe they wish bad upon their child. Sheesh! Just trying to stick up for someone.

Dude! It's what she said!! There was no LOL involved until she started correcting people. If I came on here and was like, "I can't wait to get back to work and away from these annoying kids. Right?" Do you think everyone would be all "lol I know!!!" No, they would either agree or disagree because I didn't indicate that I was kidding in any way. She realized how she came off and clarified. Stop jumping on people for answering the question she posed. It's funny to me how Jordyn is the only one who seems to be over this, while her white knights keep fighting for some reason.

God, and that is so frustrating because if you ignore the lyrics, IT IS SUCH A CATCHY SONG.  But I agree -- I mean, it is basically about date rape.  Bad enough that it gets so much radio-play, but it is also the theme song for some TV ad (can't remember what).

@Minxyglams It works for me if I click the red brackets icon and then use return. That switches it from HTML. In the HTML mode, which my iPad automatically defaults to in comments, you have to use code to enter paragraph breaks.

How the eff does this argument make ANY type of sense????:

We tried to do everything that was taboo. Bestiality, drug injections, and everything that is completely derogatory towards women. Because all three of us are happily married with children, we were like, "We're the perfect guys to make fun of this."

People say, "Hey, do you think this is degrading to women?" I'm like, "Of course it is. What a pleasure it is to degrade a woman. I've never gotten to do that before. I've always respected women."

    I mean really... Anyone?...

He was just on The View talking about how happily married he is. Yikes!
Although I hate quote trees for this purpose I will let it go.
It is like an optical illusion.  Are the boxes going into the screen or coming out?
    Trippy......

Switching gears, I think the lyrics in that Robin Thicke song "Blurred Lines" are seriously offensive. I don't understand why that song gets so much play on the radio.
God, and that is so frustrating because if you ignore the lyrics, IT IS SUCH A CATCHY SONG.  But I agree -- I mean, it is basically about date rape.  Bad enough that it gets so much radio-play, but it is also the theme song for some TV ad (can't remember what).
    It's Target :)
    Really?! JSS, fix it!

OMG, it is NOT, is it?!?!  I feel like I would remember that!!!

    I thought it was H & M or something.

It's not, it's Radio Shack Beats by Dre "Beatspill" product.  Whew.
My bad! I could have sworn it was Target...
I like how the deeply embedded quotes get darker and darker.  We should keep quoting until the most inner quote is completely black.

    I'll play
